Lower School Student Government

The Lower School Student Council consists of a president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, historian, community relations officer, and classroom representatives from third, fourth and fifth grade. Each year two elections are held, the first in October and the second in February, to enable more students to run for office and to participate in student government. The members of student council meet on a weekly basis during their lunch period to discuss ideas and plans to raise funds for the Lower School or to focus on community service projects that would be appropriate for the children. The council leads the weekly assemblies in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and makes announcements to the student body about upcoming events.
