Community Service

The service learning program is integrated into the curriculum across the grade levels. For example, during their study of the community, our kindergarten students develop relationships with the residents of a nearby retirement center. As they progress through the grades, our students study the country of Mexico and reach out to young Mexican students who live in orphanages. When learning about marine biomes and ocean life they participate in local beach cleanup days, and while studying the history of California, they learn about modern day missions that work to help and feed the homeless.
